Which one is better – Fiori Apps or Screen Personas?

When to use Fiori Elements?

These are common questions that come up when customers have a need for new apps. Although the answer lies in the details, there is some general consideration which can give you the answer in most cases and can be summarized as follows:

For existing business scenario, please check the SAP offerings first. Quite possibly there is a Fiori App already. If standard Fiori App is not available, think of SAP Screen Personas. With screen personas you can simplify a transaction to a role based app and can even add it as a tile in Fiori Launchpad.

For new or customer specific business scenario, it makes less sense to use Screen Personas. But if you have a custom transaction already, then Personas can come back into the picture. If the requirement is such that you can make the app using Fiori Elements, as it will save time. For more complicated apps, you can make your own custom apps.

If you have noticed, left hand side techniques are better suited when the customization is less and are generally cheaper options effort wise.
